Art of Matching
Matching a candidate to the best franchise is the most important part of the franchise selection process. Done correctly, the chance for success can be much higher than starting a business on your own outside of the franchise system. There are several factors that make the matching process a success.
Once we have completed the initial consultation stage, the matching process begins. We listen to clues and what a candidate likes and dislikes in all phases of life.
With regards to what types of franchises are a match there are several things to consider. For example, do you want an emerging or well-established brand? An established brand will have over 100 locations nationwide. Are you passionate about a certain industry like home services or pet care? How many hours can you commit to the business? Do you want to be an owner operator, manager or have passive ownership?
If you are making a move from a w2 employee to franchise business ownership, using an independent consultant is an invaluable source of information to understand the pros and cons of starting a new or existing franchise business. Franchising is not for everyone and keep in mind franchises are awarded, not given.
Great matches make great businesses!!
